Having worked here in our family business since 1977, I have enjoyed learning each department through working in them as I grew into my current position of Dealer Principle. I started in the Detail Department, then moved on to Parts, then worked as a Service Advisor, after several years in Service, I moved into the Sales Department and then on to Management. One of the most rewarding experiences for me is having been able to spend so much time with my father, Howard Orloff, and to watch, listen and learn from him first hand. Along with my partners and our staff, we are always here to serve our customers in a manner that will keep them a loyal Howard Orloff customer for years to come. I have been working in my father's business since 1985. During my high school summers, I worked sorting nuts and bolts in the parts department. During my college years, I worked as a used car buyer visiting various automobile dealers in Illinois, purchasing previously owned cars to sell at our dealership. I graduated law school and practiced for 4 years, then I decided to join my brother and father and work full time at Howard Orloff Imports. I needed to learn each aspect of the car business, so I started as a service advisor and eventually joined the sales department. I enjoy working with my family in the automobile industry. As a car dealer, you are able to be involved with multiple levels of business, and it is very interesting to be working with global companies such as Jaguar, Volvo ,and Land Rover. We work together with our employees, and I am committed to providing them with a pleasant and enjoyable environment. Improving customer relations is a never-ending goal trying to satisfy each and every customer while also trying to exceed their expectations in both sales and service. We try to achieve this goal by working together to make every employee at our dealership responsible for every customer's experience. One of my favorite activities at our dealership is greeting customers as they enter our service department. I enjoy seeing people who have been customers for many years as well as meeting new customers. I feel as though this gives our customers confidence that ownership is personally involved in all areas from sales to service.
Having worked in the automobile industry for almost 25 years, all with Howard Orloff Imports, the last 15 years as a part owner, I have come to appreciate both our committed staff and our loyal and valued customers. Having the chance to work in a family business, has given me a rare opportunity to make a difference; both in working with such a fine staff, and also in serving our customers in a friendly, positive and enjoyable way. In January 2008 I relocated from California to come to work for the Orloff Family. I started my career in the automobile business 22 years ago, at a dealership where we became the top dealership in the nation for our brand. I learned early on that taking care of our customers was the only way we would prosper in the auto industry. As a result, I have spent my career insisting on the best for my customers, not only from me, but from my sales staff as well. I have been at Howard Orloff Imports since February of 2007, and in that time we have developed a conscientious group of sales professionals who really care about their customers, and as a result, provide great service. I started working in the car business at Howard Orloff in May of 2000 as a young pup of 22 years old. Since that time, I've gotten married, have had two beautiful daughters and a son, and have gone from being in the top 10% in the country in Volvo Sales, to being the Finance Director, to now being the Pre-Owned Manager. I always strive for 110% customer satisfaction in all aspects of their sales or service experience.
I am the Service Manager here at Howard Orloff Imports and I have been since July 2007. I have worked in the car business for more than 25 years and I have had the pleasure of meeting some really wonderful people along the way. I always put myself into the shoes of the customer and I think that has helped me to be successful over the years. The part that I love most about the Service Department, is the positive vibe and electricity that results from taking care of customers, interacting with employees, and fixing cars right the first time!
I joined the Howard Orloff Jaguar/Land Rover service team in March of 2011 and became the Assistant Service Manager in October of 2012. I have been employed within the auto repair industry for the last 21 years and hope my experience will help to make your service visit a comfortable, as well as pleasant, experience. When I am not working I am spending time with my children, running in a 5K race to support Lukemia research, or working out at the health club.
I started my career in the automobile business in November of 1998 at a Land Rover dealership in Barrington, IL as an employee in the parts department. I worked my way up to the position of parts director overseeing the parts operations for four dealerships. I have worked primarily with the Land Rover brand my entire career and still truly enjoy the brand. I started as the parts manager here at Howard Orloff in April of 2013. I have met some truly great people through my career in this industry and I look forward to the challenges and variety this job provides everyday. In my free time I enjoy photography, sailing and scuba diving.
I entered the automotive industry in 1998 as a performance enthusiast and entry level technician. In my 11 years in the dealership environment, I have worked with multiple brands in 3 different states and taken on a variety of roles in the service department including, service writing, quality control, as well as parts sales and management. These varied roles have allowed me a unique perspective into the industry which helps me to understand the needs of our clients and the generation of business overall. My time outside of work is usually filled by spending time with my wife and our 3 year old son; enjoying the outdoors, listening to music and travelling.
I have been employed with Howard Orloff Imports since May of 1996. During those seventeen years, I have held many positions at the dealership including service advisor, service dispatcher and currently as the Body Shop Manager since 2006. My life outside of work typically consists of work-like related events where I spend most of my off time either repairing my own cars or cars for my family members.
I am excited to be a part of the Howard Orloff Imports team, as the Concierge Manager. I joined Howard Orloff Imports in August 2015 with more than 20 year's experience in hospitality and customer service, encompassing lodging and transportation. My true passion is serving and interacting with clients and elevating their customer experience. As Concierge Manager, I oversee the personnel and process associated with moving, cleaning, and detailing new, used, and customer automobiles for showroom display and customer delivery. My goal is for all customers to experience Five Star, Five Diamond service. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, watching hockey games, and spending time with my family.
I have been working for Howard Orloff Imports since June of 1987; that's almost 30 years. I enjoy working with and meeting all of our customers that buy and service their cars at our dealership. And as the Assistant Concierge Manager, I try to not only meet all of our customer's expectations, but strive to surpass those expectations and more. When I am not at HOI, I like to spend time with my wife and family. My sons are the ones that keep me going and I enjoy going to the Barber shop my son owns to just hang out. I also enjoy bowling and shooting pool.
I have been employed with Howard Orloff Imports since 1997 as the Warranty Manager and been in the automotive industry for 25 years. I started in 1985 as a service porter, then in 1987 became a service advisor and in 1990 the warranty administrator.
Diane has been the Human Resource Manager for Howard Orloff Imports since 2004. Diane is a graduate from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Masters in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. She has her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certificate. In her free time, she enjoys sailing and scuba diving with her husband.
I was given the opportunity to join the Howard Orloff Imports family in 2007 as the Office Manager. I brought with me 28 years of auto dealership experience. I have always enjoyed the day-to-day operations of the general office, as well as managing the challenges that arise along the way. It is the responsibility of the general office staff to put the finishing touches on the customer transaction, and equally as important, to insure that any follow up to the customer's purchase or lease experience and their relationship with the dealership is a positive one. I take great pride in maintaining that relationship, and find it rewarding when a customer leaves the dealership satisfied with their new car. In my spare time, I enjoy sporting events and spending time with my son, who is a senior at the University of Illinois.
I have been in automotive sales since 1998 and with Howard Orloff Imports since 2003. I live in Bucktown and enjoy working with the many wonderful people I have met through the years here at Orloff. My customers are very important to me and I always try to make them feel that. In my spare time I enjoy spending it with family and friends.
I have been in the automotive business since May of 2000. I joined the Orloff team in 2003 as a member of the new Land Rover Chicago franchise. Over the past 10 years here; I worked in the Land Rover/Jaguar Sales Department and in September 2012, I accepted the position of Business Manager. My goal continues to be providing customers with quality service and to build lasting relationships. In my spare time I enjoy biking and spending time with my two sons.
I started working at Howard Orloff Imports in August of 2007. I started in the Business Development Center, where I scheduled appointments and interacted with service customers over the phone. In November of 2017, I transitioned to a new position in the Service Department to become a Service Advisor. I love helping people seek solutions to problems in their cars. In my free time, I enjoy to read books on current events and love following capital markets all over the world.
I started my automotive career in 2010 as a technician at Toyota of Naperville and worked my way up to become a Service Advisor there. After gaining a year of service experience at that dealership, I went on to work as a dispatcher, an aftermarket coordinator, and project manager for customer service re-delivery. Having that experience, I will provide all customers with quality service, make sure they understand what is needed, and are ensured that their car is in good hands. In my free time, I enjoy working on my cars, auto-cross racing, and music production.
I started as a Service Advisor at Howard Orloff in September 2015. I began working in the automobile industry in 2008 and for me, it was an easy transition since I grew up helping my family work on cars; which helped me to grow to love cars. My goal is to provide a quality customer experience and build lasting relationships with my co-workers and customers alike. During my free time, I enjoy driving my boat and spending my weekends with my wife and two kids. I am currently a Volvo Service Advisor and have been working at Howard Orloff Volvo since February 2010. I have been in the automotive industry for a total of 6 years having worked as an automotive technician for 2 years and an advisor for 4 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. I enjoy working on cars and working with the public. Every day I get to meet new people and learn new things about cars. I am recently new to the Chicago area and enjoy living in Wrigleyville.
I have been with Howard Orloff Imports since July of 1992. I have always enjoyed the fast-paced environment of the dealership and the automotive industry. I joined Howard Orloff Imports in September 2014 and was hired into 3 job roles; pre-owned vehicle service advisor, Jaguar and Land Rover service support, and body shop assistant. I do come with 20 years of automotive experience, including over 15 years of management experience. Since coming to work for the Orloff team, I do not feel like I am being forced to wake up and come here. I truly enjoy my job roles and look forward to coming in every day. I enjoy the people I work with and the customer's that I serve. I do have a true love for life and sports. I am a HUGE and DIEHARD CUB FAN, though I love all Chicago sports. I joined the Orloff family in January 2015. Being granted the opportunity to work with them is a great privilege and opportunity to deliver and show their customers the utmost respect I have for them. I have an extensive work history in the automobile industry from owning my own service shop and working with other new car dealers. I have always enjoyed making my customers happy and feel like family ... that to me is my biggest reward. I have been with Howard Orloff Imports since May 2012 and before this my experience in the car business was 2 summers after High School as a Porter/Detailer for a Nissan Volkswagen dealer in the Metro Detroit area. I bought an XC90 here in 2010, and when I was looking to change careers from Commercial Food Sales, I felt that after the way I was treated in our own car-buying experience, that this place was a good fit. I was treated very well and the overall family atmosphere made me feel very good about our choice to purcahse a vehicle at Howard Orloff, an now as a choice for me to work and as a change of careers.
For the past five years, I have been working in the bar industry. I am in a position now where a lot of the qualities I have learned as a bartender, will help with my customer service. I pride myself in my ability to listen to people, and really understand their needs and wants. I am very thankful for the opportunity that I have been given to join the Howard Orloff Family, and I am blessed with great co-workers that have helped me really understand how to better serve the Howard Orloff and Volvo customer. My goal here is to make sure that every client I deal with receives the time and effort that they expect, and deserve. In my free time, I enjoy illustrating, snowboarding, watching the Blackhawks, and occasionally geeking out with some video games.
I am new to the automobile industry and have only been with one dealer; Howard Orloff since May 2007. I have, however, been in sales for over 15 years in the Security and Telecommunications industry. At times, I find it can be a little more challenging for me, being a woman. However, I am very trustworthy, personable, dependable, and most of all very patient. I came to the car business for a career change and to change the old stereotype of car sales. And customers have responded by telling me that, "this has been the best car buying experience they have ever had". I pride myself in hearing those words on every sale and when I do, it reminds me of why I like working at Howard Orloff and assisting people with acquiring their dream cars.
I am relatively new to the car sales industry with about a year of previous experience. Prior to joining the Howard Orloff Volvo Sales Team in 2013 I worked for three years at Enterprise Rental Car located inside the dealership. During that time I had the opportunity to see firsthand, the fun atmosphere and customer service focus that is such an integral part of this dealership. When it came time to make a career change, I was very excited to have the opportunity to join the Howard Orloff Imports family! My motto has always been "to treat others like I want to be treated", which is with honesty and most of all, with respect. In my 28 years in the car business, I have handled different tasks; Sales Manager in both new and pre-owned departments, Finance/Lease Manager, Appraiser/Reconditioning Manager, but my most gratifying time has been on the sales floor as a Sales guide. I am a sales consultant for Howard Orloff Imports. After a few years of working in construction, I was looking for a new and rewarding challenge. It is the desire for a career change that has landed me in the automobile industry. I am eager to learn the business and assist my customers in their pursuit of their new vehicle. Like most who have found themselves in this field, I discovered long ago that I had a passion for automobiles. Some like the domestic brands or even prefer imports from Germany. I however, have always found myself drawn to the English manufacturers. Because of this passion for English automobiles, I found myself in the auto industry. Luckily, I was asked to join the fantastic staff here at Howard Orloff Imports. My first real job was washing lot cars when I was 14 and I've been in the automotive business ever since. But the truth is, I've been hanging around dealerships for as long as I can remember. The son of a car guy, I logged my first sale at age 17, made a career of it at 21, and since then I've worked in a variety of different stores in different places and found that I have a passion for helping people find the right car that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. When I'm not selling cars, I love to watch movies, supporting Chicago's sports teams (Go Cubs!), and spending time with my family. I'm excited to join the team here at Orloff and work with dedicated, professional men and women and the exciting and innovative products that we offer.
I started as a salesperson with Howard Orloff on June 6, 1983 when we were located at 4748 W. Fullerton in Chicago. When we moved to our present location in 1993, I moved into the Internet Sales Department having the vision that Internet Sales would be the future of the automobile business. I have always believed that customer satisfaction is job number one and to strive to go above and beyond in all facets of my job with Howard Orloff. Over the last 27 years, I have worked on and off at Howard Orloff on several occasions, always coming back home to the place I feel most comfortable and welcome.
I started my career in automotive sales in 2009 at a Nissan store in the suburbs, originally thinking it would be a short-term position before finding a job in the finance industry once the economy recovered from the Great Recession. However, I quickly found that I had a passion for the automotive industry and customer service. I then came to the rather egotistical conclusion that the car-buying process was not what it should be and I could help make it better. From there, I then honed my skills, built up my knowledge base, and worked my way up the ladder until I spent 2013-2015 as the Internet Sales Manager at a major Toyota dealer in the Chicago area. However, I missed the personal touch and the relationships that only comes with working with customers "one-on-one" in the store, so I was thrilled to take the opportunity to join Howard Orloff Imports as an Internet Sales Consultant. Here, I can use my experience to both initially help our customers electronically and then continue to guide them through the entire car-buying process when in the store. My goal is always to make the entire experience relaxed, enjoyable, and exciting; as it should be when you are going home with one of our amazing vehicles! When I am not in the store, I can be found sailing in the summers, out cavorting around the city with my wife, spending time with my family, and wishing I could play Quidditch.
I have been in automobile sales for over ten (10) years and still enjoy assisting customers in selecting their cars. No matter if it is a first car, a work car, a mini van, or a brand new red sports car, I realize all car purchases are big decisions for my customers and their families. I welcome the opportunity to assist in that purchase and giving customers a completely satisfied experience. When I am not working, I spend my time with friends going to concerts, sporting events, street festivals, mountain biking, traveling, beaches and I like to workout at Chicago Boxing Club.
